2020 Summer Film Makers Workshop
Dr. Michael White will lead a summer film making workshop for teens hosted by Wayne State College at the College Center in South Sioux City.
The workshop is an introduction in filmmaking. Students will actively plan, shoot and edit their own short films.
All facets of production will be covered including casting, set design, location scouting, lighting, shooting and editing.

Note: Friday, July 17 Family and Friends are welcome at 7:00 to watch short films made by workshop students
Script Writing & Story Boards: Monday, July 13 Ideas will become script and then be turned into story boards to shoot from.
All About Cameras & Shooting: Tuesday, July 14 How cameras work, including how to zoom, focus, compose, and execute camera moves.
Microphones & Recording Sound: Wednesday, July 15 How to mic scenes and set up sound to be edited later.
Sets & Locations: Thursday, July 16 How to design sets and organize shooting.
Editing: Friday, July 17 How to assemble all the video and sound with effects to create a final project.
Project Screening: Friday, July 17 @ 7:00 A showing of the short films made by workshop students!
