Diamond Defense Camps | Catchers
Frankfort – The Kentucky State University baseball program and head coach Rob Henry have announced they will be holding its second series of baseball skills camps from July 23-24th and 26-27th at the KSU baseball field.
The cost is $25 per player for each session, and the camps are open to student-athletes attending middle school and high school. The camps will run from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and feature position-specific workouts with individual and group instruction.
The infield camp will be held on July 23rd, followed by the pitching camp on July 24th, the catching and outfield camp on July 26th, and the hitting camp on July 27th.
The defensive camps will include instruction in everything from daily foundation drills to individual and team defensive instruction. The pitching camp will include information on how to develop daily and weekly in-season and off-season pitching routines, along with defensive instruction. The hitting camp will focus primarily on developing your most powerful swing and creating more power as a hitter.
The KSU baseball team broke the program records for fielding percentage and home runs on their way to its most successful season since 1988, culminating in an appearance in the 2018 SIAC championship game.
