Our Road to Omaha Prospect Camps are designed to evaluate the best talent possible for our recruiting purposes as we continue to work our way back to The College World Series. Camp will consist of a skills session on Monday evening including; fielding from your position, timed 60yd run, throwing from your position and BP under the lights. On Saturday, August 18th campers will have a recruiting and academic seminar with Coaches Birkbeck and Marconi and also participate in a game with live arms with camp concluding after the game. We put a lot of emphasis on evaluating our campers to be potential Kent State Golden Flash Baseball players and that’s evidenced by the fact that 50% of our current roster and incoming recruit classes were seen at one of our camps. Camp will be administered by the Nationally Recognized Kent State Coaching Staff and also by some current Kent State Baseball players in addition to us inviting other college coaches to attend. Campers must bring all necessary equipment for camp. Campers will be given lunch on day two of the camp.
