Speed, Agility, and Base Stealing Camp
Speed and agility have become two of the most important attributes an athlete can have. The goal of this camp is to improve the speed and agility of all campers’. The speed portion of the camp will focus on improving speed, stride length, and stride frequency. Stride length improvements are accomplished through the use of over speed training as well as plyometrics to increase leg power and strength. Improvements to stride frequency are addressed through resisted sprints, agility, and ladder drills. The other two components are running form/technique and the ‘Start’ all four components are focused on each and every day of the camp. Through the camp, we will also address proper way to run the bases as well as skills needed to steal bases.

Equipment
Each camper must bring his own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, bat, batting gloves, helmet, cleats/spikes, running shoes or turf shoes, hat, and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Please mark camper's names on all items. The camp is not responsible for lost belongings.

Comfortable baseball attire. All players must bring both running / athletic shoes and cleats, baseball pants, and a baseball hat. Please always be prepared for cold and wet weather. Camp is Rain or Shine!
