ABOUT FALL PROSPECT CAMP
The University of Oregon Baseball program will be hosting a Fall High School Prospect Camp. Oregon Duck players and coaches will provide players with instruction and evaluation of their baseball skill level at our elite facility, PK Park. Position players will be run through various offensive and defensive drills, while pitchers will be given instruction through drills, bullpen sessions and game situations. The focus will be on the fundamentals of all aspects of the game. Coaches for all positions; pitchers, catchers, infielders, and outfielders, will all be present to provide instruction and help improve each campers skill set. Players will also be broken up into two teams on Day 2 of the camp to compete in live game situations. Pitchers will be held to pitch counts and position players will be given as many at-bats as possible to provide ample opportunity to showcase their skills. Staff members will roam the field to provide in-game instruction to players and pitchers to help them understand the details of the game.
