Camp Description: Future Bear Winter Pitching & Catching Camp is a chance to both improve and showcase your pitching and catching skills with the UNC coaching staff and current players. Pitchers will receive instruction from UNC Pitching Coach, Nick Childs, on how the UNC Bears pitching staff prepares, in addition each prospect will showcase their abilities in a one on one bullpen session. Catchers will run through catching specific drills and skills (blocking, receiving, throwing) led by UNC Catching Instuctor/Head Coach, Carl Iwasaki and Assitant Coach Nate Rasmussen and Jake Ek. Catchers will also receive instruction while receiving bullpen sessions.
