2019 Wildcat Hitting Academy


Wednesdays, January 23rd, 30th, February 6th
Who: Baseball Players in Grades 2nd-12th
Grades 2nd-7th: 6:00pm - 7:00pm
Grades 8th-12th: 7:00pm - 8:00pm
Cost: $225 per Camper

Northwestern University is offering a Winter Hitting Academy that is an exceptional opportunity for any and all baseball players to get instruction from the Northwestern Baseball coaching staff. The camp will take place in the Wildcat Indoor Cages (Annex, Trienens Hall). Members of the Northwestern Baseball staff will be present and instructing at all times throughout the camp. The participants will be instructed in all phases of becoming a better offensive baseball player. The clinic will offer personal and group instruction. Attention is given to gaining a better understanding of how to become a better offensive contributor to each individual’s team. The Northwestern Baseball staff will use different methods of instruction, including but not limited to video, diagrams, and demonstration. All campers will receive a Northwestern Baseball t-shirt.

Site & Facility: The camp will be held on the campus of Northwestern University, located 10 miles north of Chicago. The camp will take place at Northwestern’s indoor hitting facility located next to Rocky & Berenice Miller Park. Our indoor hitting facility has four batting cages and state of the art pitching machines. GPS address: 2707 Ashland Avenue, Evanston IL, 60208.

What To Bring: Each camper must bring their own baseball equipment. Players will need their own bat, glove, batting gloves, molded spikes, turfs, and catchers must bring their own gear.

Additional Information: All prospective campers must submit a completed application form online. Applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis until all positions are filled. Acceptance of a team will be verified upon receipt of the application with full payment. Please note that it is extremely important to provide a valid email address, as our confirmation and all communication will be sent via email. Medical Release Forms must be completed online.

Refund Policy: After receipt of application, no refunds will be given.
