Hawks Showcase Skills Camp
Hawks Showcase Skills Camp
Huntingdon College will be hosting the Huntingdon Hawks Showcase Skills Camp on May 18, 2019 with registration starting at 8:00 a.m. The Showcase Skills Camp is constructed to target all interested Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors, and un-signed Seniors. This camp will give all prospective players the opportunity to demonstrate their abilities in front of numerous Junior College, NAIA, and NCAA coaches. This event will allow participates to also receive collegiate coaching instruction throughout the day. The camp will run from 9am-1pm filled with demonstrations of arm strength, fielding, offensive production and power. This workout will be more individualized for each participant guaranteeing more repetitions during the camp sessions as well as opportunities to demonstrate skills during instructional and teaching sessions. Instruction will be given on each component of the game: infield, outfield, hitting, pitching, and catching. Previous players from our camps have gone on to play at numerous colleges across the southeast. Also, time will be allotted for parents to meet and ask questions to the different collegiate coaches. Unfortunately, registration will be cut off after the first 80 players to sign up. This is a great opportunity for anyone who desires to one day play collegiate baseball.
