2019 LACES: Leadership Academy For Your Competitive Edge
This 3 day Girls Leadership Academy will help excel your game to the next level. Bringing top girls lacrosse coaches from around the country, you will have access to the top training techniques in the fast-paced world of girls lacrosse! The camp will consist of 3 training sessions a day, as well as incorporate leadership training, team building activities, college academic counseling information, and nutritional information to give you a Competitive Edge. The camp is recommended for players who are intermediate to advanced. Coaches will focus on individual and group level skills to help maximize every camper’s abilities and to provide them with a top training experience. The camp strives to provide not only lacrosse development, but better students and citizens as well.

CHECK-IN / OUT:
- Residential Camp: Camp begins with registration on July 29th at 8-8:45am at Urness Hall (800 22nd Ave South).
- Day Camp: Camp begins with registration on Monday July 29th at 9am at Edor Nelson Field (709 23rd Ave South).
TRAINING ACTIVITIES OF THE CAMP INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Attacking Fundamentals
- Defensive Fundamentals
- Transition Work
- Man-Up / Man-Down Situations
- Full Field Play
- Goalkeeper Specific Training
- Strength / Conditioning Basics
- Small Sided Situations
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Participants receive a pennie and worksheets / camp journal with nutritional info, recruiting tips, leadership, mental training, goals sheet, etc.
WHAT TO BRING: Things to bring for the dorm: towels, toiletries, pillow, and fan if desired. Equipment to bring: goggles, mouth guard, stick, cleats, and sneakers.
TRANSPORTATION: Parking is available on campus for Day Campers.
CAMP STORE: If you are interested in purchasing snacks, Gatorade, and water at night then please bring cash or check for the camp store.
PARENTS: Parents are welcome and encouraged to watch in the designated areas at camp.
