This is an intensive learning experience for the camper that has a sincere desire to concentrate on developing their skills as a pitcher or catcher. Campers will be instructed on the fundamentals in all areas that relate to being a pitcher or catcher, with extensive teaching and training on the skill of hitting. Examples of some areas to be covered: Pitchers: mechanics, grips, drills to improve delivery, pick-offs, pitch selection and developing a game plan, a daily throwing routine and the use of the bullpen between starts. Catchers: stance, framing, blocking, throwing, fielding, tags, pop-ups and developing a relationship with the pitching staff. Each day will consist of a morning and afternoon session with lunch served from 11:45-12:45 in the dormitory cafeteria.

Staff:
Our instructional staff is the very best in the country. In addition to the coaches from the University of Minnesota baseball program we have coaches representing the finest high school and college programs in the nation. Each week we will have a staff of 25›35 coaches to provide an extraordinary level of instruction. Frequently, the coach/player ratio is 1 coach for every 8 players. A certified athletic trainer will also be on hand at all times. Our camps are open to all ability levels.
