Event Description
SMC BASEBALL CAMPS | Summer Prospect Camps
|
Our "Day in the Life" Elite Prospect camps combine a pro-style workout, Individual defensive and offensive skill instruction, a strength and conditioning aspect, and game competition led by the Saint Mary’s Baseball Coaching Staff and their current players. The live game held at Louis Guisto Field on the campus of SMC will be viewed by each member of the Saint Mary's College coaching staff. Something that is unique to the SMC "Day in the Life" Camps are the opportunity to sit in on a Diamond University Skills class taught by SMC Head Baseball Coach, Greg Moore. This is the same mental skills training course that the college baseball players at Saint Mary's attend in the fall. It gives players the chance to get some insight on being a college student-athlete, and what it takes to succeed at the Division I level.
The "Day in the Life" Camp is truly that. As a player at this camp, you will get a sneak peek into life as a college student-athlete, as well as giving yourself a chance to learn, get better and be scouted by the SMC staff. Get ready to bring it with a great first step in the morning, and when fatigue sets in, look to have a great finish to the day!
What To Bring:
- All necessary baseball equipment
