High School Skills Camp

 

The Troy University Baseball High School Skills Camp is designed to benefit the player looking to improve their baseball skills.  Specific instruction will be given on each of the following: Hitting (including video analysis); Pitching; Catching; Fielding; Base Running; and Weight Training.

July 16th - 18th
Grades: Upcoming HS Sophomores thru HS Seniors
(2020 – 2022 Graduation Years)
Check-In Commuters:
Tuesday, July 16, 6:00 PM
Check-In Overnight:
Tuesday, July 16, 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM
Time:
Tuesday: 6:30 PM – 10:00 PM
Wednesday: 9 AM – 10:00 PM
Thursday: 9 AM – 1:00 PM
Commuter: $250 includes camp T-shirt & 2 meals (lunch and dinner on Monday)
Overnight: $350 includes housing for two nights, camp T-shirt & 4 meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner on Wednesday & breakfast on Thursday)

  • 8:00 AM Breakfast for Overnight Campers
  • 8:45 AM Check In for Commuter Campers
  • 9:00 AM Session Three
  • 10:30 AM Break
  • 10:45 AM Session Four
  • 11:45 AM Lunch
  • 1:00 PM Session Five
  • 3:15 PM Break
  • 3:30 PM Session Six
  • 5:30 PM Dinner
  • 7:00 PM Games/Competitions
  • 10:00 PM End of Day Two

Day Three

  • 8:00 AM Breakfast for Overnight Campers
  • 8:45 AM Check In for Commuter Campers
  • 9:00 AM Session Seven
  • 10:30 AM Break
  • 10:45 AM Session Eight
  • 12:30 PM Wrap Up
  • 1:00 PM End of Camp
 

Equipment: Each camper must bring his own equipment. Please mark name on all items. Smartt Baseball LLC and Troy University are not responsible for lost or stolen items. Players should bring:

  • Glove
  • Bat
  • Catching equipment (if applicable)
  • Running/turf shoes & molded cleats. DUE TO THE TURF SURFACE, ONLY PITCHERS ARE ALLOWED TO WEAR METAL SPIKES AT RIDDLE-PACE FIELD.
  • Hat & helmet
  • Any other equipment necessary to compete.

Other Items for Overnight Campers to bring:

  • Sheets, blanket, or sleeping bag for a twin bed
  • Towel and personal hygiene items
  • Money for buying pizza, snacks, drinks (optional)

Meals – All campers should eat prior to the start of camp at 6:30 on Day One.

  • Commuter Campers will have lunch and dinner on Day Two provided
  • Overnight Campers will have breakfast, lunch, & dinner on Day One and breakfast on Day Two provided. Each night, Overnight Campers can also purchase pizza, snacks, and drinks at the end of each day.

Communication: Once you have completed the registration process, a confirmation email will be sent to the account associated with your registration. Please check your email regularly as this is the primary way we communicate. Cancellation: We do not offer refunds on canceled campers. We will offer a future camp credit if you need to cancel for any reason.

In accordance with NCAA rules, Smartt Baseball Camps are open to any and all entrants but may limit attendance based on age, number, and grade level. Camp attendance is never restricted by a camper’s skill level or baseball experience. This camp is owned and operated by Smartt Baseball LLC. Troy University is not responsible for any expenses related to your participation in the camp or incurred in the event of cancellation of any portion of the camp.
