Event Description
2019 Prospect Camp
The Concordia University, St. Paul baseball program will be hosting a prospect camp on Monday, August 5, 2019. The camp will take place at Bob Barnes field on the campus of Concordia University in St. Paul. The camp is open to players entering grades 9-12.
The camp will be run similar to a pro-style showcase followed by a live scrimmage where pitchers will throw to hitters. In the skill portion players will run a 60-yard dash, infielders/outfields will throw and field ground/fly balls from their position and catchers will block and throw.
Following the skill portion all players will take batting practice on the field. This will be followed by a live scrimmage. Each player will be able to get live at-bats, play his position, and pitch (if he is registered as a pitcher). All participants will have their results (pitcher's velocity, outfielder's velocity, infielder's velocity, catcher's pop-time, etc.) emailed to them a week after the camp is complete. Pitchers and hitters will be given data on their outing/at bats created by the Rapsodo.
CSP camp T-shirts will be included in the cost of the camp for those that register before July 20th Lunch will not be provided. Participants should bring their own food and drinks. Water will be provided.
