Fall Prospect Showcase Camp


General Information: This camp is for all high school seniors and junior college players that want to showcase their skills in front of Division-I coaches in the University of New Orleans coaching staff for one last time before the final additions are made for the next year and also younger high school player looking to showcase their progress and talent to work towards a college baseball roster spot. This camp will be instructed with a pro workout format. All players will run the 60 yard dash, participate in defensive drills, throw from your position, hit batting practice on the field, and pitchers/catchers will work in the bullpen. This is an excellent opportunity for you to show college coaches that you have the skills to play at the next level.  Walk-ups are welcome.

Times: Camp will run 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM (Approx.)

8:30 AM - 9:00 AM → Registration
9:00 AM - 9:15 AM → Personnel Introductions, Camp Overview, and Facility Tour
9:15 AM - 9:30 AM → Stretch / 60 YD Dash
9:30 AM - 10:30 AM → Defensive Work
10:30 AM - 11:30 AM → Offensive Work
11:30 AM - 12:00 PM →  Pitchers Showcase

Who is right for this camp?: Rising 9th grade high school players through JUCO sophomores who are looking to show their talent and abilities to Division-I coaches in order to better their chances of playing collegiate and/or Division-I baseball.

What To Bring: Each player is required to bring his own baseball equipment as we will not be providing any personal baseball equipment for this showcase. Recommended equipment would be a glove, bat, cleats, turfs/running shoes, a hat, baseball pants and a helmet. Catchers must bring their own gear.

Do I need to pack a lunch?: Due to the timeframe in which our showcase will be held you will not need to bring a lunch of any kind. We will also be providing water in the dugout throughout the showcase as well.

Medical Staff: All camps held at UNO have medical staff on site in the form of an athletic trainer who will be able to assist in any case of injury or medical assistance. Please indicate any pre-existing medical conditions prior to camp on our registration forms so we may be able to assist your children as needed.t. We will also be providing water in the dugout throughout the showcase as well.

Refund & Weather Policy: No refunds will be issued. In the event of rain, a camp credit will be given for a future camp
