We are fortunate to represent Des Moines Area Community College and to be a part of one of the most successful baseball programs in the state of Iowa. In recent years, we have excelled in one of the most competitive NJCAA conferences in the country, the ICCAC, and none of this would be possible without devout supporters like you. A snapshot of the last ten years shows an overall record of 381-200, coupled with five conference titles and two trips to the World Series. Along with our outstanding team accolades, we had some outstanding individual on field achievements. Including ten All-Americans, five Rawlings Gold Glove Winners, and one ABCA National Player of the Year. In the classroom we have also set the bar high. On average, we saw sixteen student athletes earn Academic All-Region and three earn NJCAA All-Academic awards per year.

I asked each of our players to recruit friends, family, and people that have had a positive influence in their life to contribute to our program and their experience while here. Our players have very busy schedules between class, baseball, community service and fundraising, and this letter campaign allows for us to eliminate some of the more time consuming fundraising options to allow our guys more time to focus on their already busy schedules. All donations received this year will be utilized in many different areas that will directly impact the development and student athlete experience for our players. My staff and I do our best to make sure our guys get the proper nutrition and lodging while on the road which at times comes at a higher cost then eating fast food all of the time. These funds will aid in us being able to do that while also supplementing other areas of our operating budget. From a player development standpoint, we are targeting a data tracking/video system to help facilitate growth on the mound, at the plate, and in other facets of the game.
