Event Description

Diamond Dreams Sports Academy

Little Hawks Arm Care Program

Back by popular demand, we will facilitate a November-December arm program from November 3rd - December 22nd on Sunday, Wednesday and Friday's. This program will be similar to last year but will be managed by Brandon Platts and Staff at Diamond Dreams. This will also include former Hawkeye and current minor-league pitchers Nick Gallagher (Indians) and Cole McDonald (Astros). This will be a all encompassing program to continue to build on athleticism, movement patterns and more to help gain arm strength and consistency, and improve overall arm health. NOT JUST FOR PITCHERS. This should NOT take place of a winter sport if it comes down to deciding between the two!!!

This will require youth coach involvement as much as possible to allow for ongoing development throughout the year!!!

November 3rd - December 19th
Days: Sunday, Wednesday, Friday
Times: Sunday | 2:00pm - 4:00pm Start Time (1 hour groups)
Wednesday/Friday | 5:30pm - 7:30pm Start Time
Length Per Session: Approximately 1 hour in the indoor facility and an additional 30/45 minutes per group in the weightroom. We will not have lifting Friday evenings.
Groups: TBD but 3 groups preferably with kids of similar ages. Youngest to oldest.
Location: City High Indoor Facility and CHS weightroom.
Cost: $300

High School Players: Diamond Dreams will be running a similar program at Diamond Dreams. If this works for you, we strongly recommend that option as it enables for a higher level of intensity as you will be with high level players from the area. Our players have spoken highly of this experience because of the competitive environment that is included. However, the last time slot will also be an option here if that fits your needs better.
