Summer Half Day Prospect Skills Camp II (13-18u)

The Wednesday, July 22nd Summer Half Day Prospect Skills Camp II is a half day camp designed to benefit the player looking to play at the next level. All prospect events will include a pro-style workout including the 60 yard dash, arm grades, and batting practice. This day is used to provide potential student-athletes with quality instruction and an opportunity to display their abilities and talents through a professional-style workout. Camp participation is limited to 8th graders through 12th graders.
 
Some current Pitt student-athletes will mentor campers during camp, answering questions about playing college baseball including the academic and athletic demands. Registration DOES NOT include any meals, transportation or lodging. The camp is not an overnight camp, thus players are responsible for their own hotel and transportation.
 
There are limited number of players permitted in each camp to allow for extensive evaluation and enhanced attention to each camper.

CAMP PARTICIPATION
Grades 8th - 12th

CAMP CHECK-IN
The camp check-in time will be from 11:30am - 12:00pm at the Petersen Baseball Complex.

DAILY CAMP TIMES
12:00pm - 3:00pm

LOCATION
The clinic is held at the Petersen Baseball Complex located at 365 Robinson St. Extension, Pittsburgh, PA 15219

TUITION
$100.00 per Camp
Tuition does not include any meals, transportation, or lodging. The camp is not an overnight camp, thus players are responsible for their own hotel and transportation.
$25 discount for Siblings.  Must register both children in the same transaction to receive the discount.

ESTIMATED SATURDAY SCHEDULE
- Advanced hitting, pitching, throwing, infield, outfield and catching instruction.
- Evaluation detailing measurable demonstrated at camp.
- Opportunity to meet Pitt Baseball Coaching Staff
 
ESTIMATED SATURDAY SCHEDULE

12:00pm – 12:30pm: Check-In
12:30pm – 1:00pm: Introductions/Dynamic Warm-Up/Throwing Program
1:00pm – 2:00pm: Position Instruction/Defensive Evaluation
2:00pm – 2:30pm: Run 60s
2:30pm – 3:00pm: Offensive Evaluation/Bullpens

EQUIPMENT
Each camper must bring their own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, molded cleats or turf shoes, hat, helmet, bat, batting gloves and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. The camp is not responsible for lost belongings.

MEALS
Meals during camp are the responsibility of the camper. Water will be provided at the event.

PARKING
Parking is available in the OC Parking lot located across from the Fitzgerald Fieldhouse on Allequippa St.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Pitt Baseball Camps have an open-door policy regarding watching your son practice and play while at camp. Should you want to arrange an official tour of campus, you will need to contact the Admissions Office at https://oafa.pitt.edu/visit/tours/.

CANCELLATION POLICY
All camps are non-refundable. Refunds will only be given in unforeseen circumstance, such as injuries or other unique situation.
