Summer Baseball Camps
The Minnesota Baseball Instructional School Summer Camps are multiple day camps designed to teach the fundamentals of the game of baseball. Each camp will be adequately staffed by current Golden Gopher coaching staff members, players, and some of the finest high school coaches in the Minneapolis area. Our goal with each camp is for every player to walk away with a renewed sense of energy for the game of baseball.
The Rookie Camp is designed around the fundamentals of throwing, catching, hitting and base running. After the skills have been taught each day the campers will get to play in games with the coaching staff and current or former Golden Gopher Baseball players providing for a fun-filled environment. Over the years this has been one of our most popular camps. All players walk away having learned more about the game of baseball, but more importantly they had a lot of fun! Camp runs from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Wednesday. Each day will consist of a morning and afternoon session with lunch served from 11:45-12:45 in the fresh food cafeteria located in the 17th Avenue Dormitory.
Staff:
Our instructional staff is the very best in the country. In addition to the coaches from the University of Minnesota baseball program we have coaches representing the finest high school and college programs in the nation. Each week we will have a staff of 25-35 coaches to provide an extraordinary level of instruction. Frequently, the coach/player ratio is 1 coach for every 8 players. A certified athletic trainer will also be on hand at all times. Our camps are open to all ability levels.

Gopher Baseball Programs are open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age, grade level, and/or gender.
