Summer Baseball Camps
The Minnesota Baseball Instructional School Summer Camps are multiple day camps designed to teach the fundamentals of the game of baseball. Each camp will be adequately staffed by current Golden Gopher coaching staff members, players, and some of the finest high school coaches in the Minneapolis area. Our goal with each camp is for every player to walk away with a renewed sense of energy for the game of baseball.
This camp is designed for the baseball player that wants to improve his swing mechanics and mental awareness at the plate. The coaching staff will teach sound fundamental swing mechanics and the tools necessary to develop a mental plan for your at bats. Campers will learn zone hitting that will help you develop the swing necessary to hit to all fields and increase your batting average. This camp will run from 9:00 am - 11:00 am for 9 to 12 year old players and 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm for 13 to 18 year old players Monday through Thursday. Lunch is NOT provided.
Our instructional staff is the very best in the country. In addition to the coaches from the University of Minnesota baseball program we have coaches representing the finest high school and college programs in the nation. Each week we will have a staff of 25›35 coaches to provide an extraordinary level of instruction. Frequently, the coach/player ratio is 1 coach for every 8 players. A certified athletic trainer will also be on hand at all times. Our camps are open to all ability levels.
