Summer Youth Camp

Rutgers Baseball will be offering a 4-day youth development camp at Bainton Field and the Fred Hill Complex, home of the Scarlet Knights. The staff in attendance will provide instruction and drills to enhance the skill level of each player. Campers will be instructed on the fundamentals of baseball, followed by game play to allow for players to apply what is learned during instruction. Players will be grouped by age. Each player must bring their own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, bat, cleats, running or turf shoes, hat, helmet and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Catchers do not need to bring gear.

Any additional information that we need to pass along as we get closer to the camp will be sent to you via the email address that you provide through the registration process.

Rutgers Baseball and Rutgers University are continuing to monitor COVID-19 developments. The health and safety of campers and our staff is our primary focus. Our summer 2020 camps are currently scheduled to proceed as planned. If it is determined that our camps should be canceled, we will issue campers a full refund within 48 hours of cancelation (minus Ryzer card processing/convenience fees).

As an added safeguard our event offers Allianz Registration Protection insurance. For an additional fee, this insurance refunds your full registration fee if camp is held but you cannot attend or must leave early due to a covered injury or illness which includes COVID-19. Location: Fred Hill Indoor Baseball Training Complex, 146 Hospital Rd., Piscataway, NJ 08854

Players Will Recieve:

• Instruction from the Rutgers Baseball Staff along with Local College and High School Coaches
• Camp T-Shirt
• Days of Fun Game Play and Instruction

Lunch: Players are responsible for their own lunch each day. Water will be provided at the field each day.

This camp is open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender.) Enrollment numbers will be limited.
