Who Can Play For Us
Our program is made available to baseball players entering 9th through 12th grades predominately in the Plymouth, Whitemarsh, and Conshohocken communities. Players from Plymouth Whitemarsh High School and players who do not attend Plymouth Whitemarsh who are serious about competing at the high school level are among those who may be invited to participate.
Focus of the Fall Program
The focus of the fall is to allow players to develop and work on skills that will help improve their game for the spring season. The fall league is developmental both in terms of developing individual skills as well as team dynamics. We will pitch by committee in most games, allowing our pitchers to spend the fall competing and working on mechanics, without jumping back in to a mid-season workload. Our teams have served as a nice platform for players to get a chance to play together with other players they may end up sharing the diamond with come the school season.
We will plan to offer two teams this fall... one for the 9th grade/JV level level, and one for the Varsity level. A free college showcase opportunity is also available to selected players in the varsity level division during the fall season, and a playoff weekend occurs at the end to allow even further competition along with the focus on player development.
Roster Size and Expectation for Commitment
Roster Size and Expectation for Commitment We are looking for players who can commit to games and practices each during the week and weekend in August, September, and October, but also understand that high school fall sports may need to take a priority during this time of year. We are obviously open to working with our fall athletes and will try to accommodate so that you can still participate in the fall baseball program. If you are playing another fall sport, please take an honest look at your schedule and see whether or not you can make the appropriate level of commitment to the fall baseball program. However, we do need to ask that if you are not playing a fall sport and are thinking about playing on multiple fall baseball teams, you will need to make this team your priority. Because of limited space, we need you to be honest and be willing to accept our commitment policies.
A FALL TRYOUT WILL BE NECESSARY IF OUR REGISTRATIONS EXCEED THE NUMBER OF PLAYERS WE CAN ACCOMMODATE AT EITHER LEVEL.
