2019 FULL DAY CAMP

At Pitt, we pride ourselves on the relationships we build with our athletes.  As coaches, we are here to facilitate your growth as a diver and person.  We will help you learn new skills and dives in a fun environment where you will make a ton of friends.

Offer more advanced coaching for more competitive divers and those wanting a whole day of camp activity.

CAMP DATES
Monday, July 15 - Friday, July 19

CAMP PARTICIPATION
It is recommended that campers are at least 8 years old to attend day camp and 12 years old to attend overnight camp. Camps are open to all levels and ages. We have found that athletes younger than 12 with no experience of diving do better with the half day camp. Please consult with the diving camp’s Director if there are any concerns about the camper’s age and/or experience.

Overnight Camper: $675.00
Optional Sunday overnight stay: $50 additional
Day Camper: $550.00

MEALS
Commuter and overnight campers will have meals at the Perch in the Sutherland Hall.

OVERNIGHT HOUSING
Overnight Campers will stay in the Sutherland Residence Hall which is located on Upper Campus. Sutherland Residence Hall has 24 hour security and will also be supervised by camp staff. The dorm rooms are double occupancy with air condition and semi private baths.

WHAT TO BRING
Each camper must bring:
Diving gear; suits, chamoix, wrist guards- if needed,
Athletic clothing for dryland.
Water Bottle
Toiletries
Pillow, linens, and a towel will be provided. If need of additional items, please bring your own

INSTRUCTION GROUP SIZE
Pitt Diving Camps pride ourselves on our small divers to coach ratio.  Divers will be in small groups of divers to enable fantastic coaching but also the opportunity for divers to build relationships and trust with the coaching and counselling staff.

ALL CAMPS ARE OPEN TO ANY AND ALL ENTRANTS, ONLY LIMITED BY NUMBER, AGE, GRADE OR GENDER.
NCAA GUIDELINES PROHIBIT PAYMENT OF CAMP EXPENSES (E.G., TRANSPORTATION, CAMP FEES, SPENDING MONEY, ETC.) BY A REPRESENTATIVE OF THE UNIVERSITY OF PITTSBURGH ATHLETICS INTERESTS. NCAA RULES ALSO PROHIBIT FREE OR REDUCED CAMP ADMISSION FOR PROSPECTS (9TH GRADE AND ABOVE).
