Proactive Referee Officiating Camp


June 7th - 9th
Full Camp Cost: $525
Classroom Only: $225
For referees interested in experiencing the classroom curriculum, observing games and postgame video breakdown sessions. Referees who choose this option will not be scheduled to work games.

Proactive Referee Officiating Camp is a three day intensive basketball referee camp for highly motivated individuals who desire to reach higher levels of basketball officiating. This is a great opportunity to prepare for upcoming camps from which a referee is looking to get hired onto a conference staff.  NBA and high level NCAA officials will offer elite knowledge through classroom sessions, live games, postgame video breakdowns, that can significantly help referees separate themselves from the pack. Proactive Referee Officiating Camp will give you one-on-one access to some of the most high-level collegiate and professional officials in the game of basketball. If you’re looking to be the best, you have to learn from the best.

CAMP GOALS

Comprehensive video review sessions with a staff member will follow each game. These small group settings will provide valuable opportunities to reflect on your work and to identify areas to improve in your future games. You will also witness firsthand how a veteran official breaks down videotape for genuine self-improvement, not just mere call validation.

WHAT TO BRING

Officials should bring an adequate supply of equipment, including:
