2019 Summer - Technology

Sculpt, Code & Connect: Grades 5th-10th
Brand new camp offering kids hands-on activity with clay, play-doh circuits and fun introductory coding. Campers engage in sculpting, coding and connecting their creations with LED circuits in this hands-on half-day camp to enhance critical thinking and problem solving skills. Each day we will create, code and connect our very own personal project gaining practical skills. We will sculpt food models such as a gingerbread man, a sandwich, a hotdog bun, and a cupcake with clay, play-doh and bridge them with LED color lights. We will also be making an electronic light-up robot, lightsaber & a panda. All the supplies will be provided for each participant, and everyone takes home their creation at the end of the camp. No previous computer programming experience required.
