ZMS Rock Band & Jazz Ensemble: 6th-8th Grades

ZMS Rock Band & Jazz Ensemble: 6th-8th Grades Join Mr. Weirich ,Mr. Murray and Mr. Schroeder for an awesome year of Rock Band & Jazz Ensemble! Everyone gets in, no instruments are turned away, and we have a TON of AMAZING performances lined up for you this year! This year’s Rock Band will be playing at the January Jazz Jambalaya, the traditional ZMS/ZWMS Battle for the Nest basketball game, a ZCHS basketball Game against Brownsburg, and a Butler basketball game alongside the Butler University Basketball Band! The Jazz Ensemble will be performing at the January Jazz Jambalaya, ISSMA’s Jazz Contest, and the Ball State’s Jazz Festival: Dimensions in Jazz! Each band has its own shirt, its own schedule, and its own performances, and it should be another great year in for ZMS Rock Band & Jazz Ensemble!

After your son or daughter has been registered and auditioned, they will be placed in either Rock Band or Jazz Ensemble, and the first rehearsal will be October 3rd. • Rock Band will meet after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays each week from 3:50pm-4:30pm. • Jazz Ensemble will meet before school on Tuesdays and Thursdays each week from 7:50am-8:35am.
