Introduction to Robotics: Grades 2nd – 4th
Have you ever wondered what it takes to design and build a robot? Then this class is for you! Students will work on small teams to design and build and drive their own robot. They will both drive their robot autonomously and with a remote. Teams will work together to play the 2020/21 VEX IQ game. Teams will make modifications to their robot and at the end compete in a mini tournament with the other teams. This class will be a great introduction to the world of competitive robotics and the build and design process. Interested 4th grade students who excel may be invited to attend the 5th-8th class later in the summer. PVE students interested in participating on the STEEL EAGLE team at PVE are encouraged to attend. This class is open to all 2nd through 4th grade students. Limited to 25 participants.
