ZWest Summer Band Clinic: Beginner Track GR: 5th
The week-long, half-day immersive camp experience for first year ZWMS band students is a great way to start playing a band instrument. Get a head start on playing your new instrument, discovering a new school, and making new friends! Students will work in small groups and full band classes to learn how to assemble and care for their instrument, produce a beautiful sound, play the first few notes, and ensure a successful start to the school year. Students will spend a fun and inspiring week making music, culminating in a concert performance in West Hall on the last day of camp. This course is designed for ZWMS band students entering 5th grade or older students new to a band instrument.
