ANKENY CENTENNIAL HS CAMPS | Jaguar Running Club
| Open to ANY and ALL Students Enrolled in Ankeny Community Schools |
8th Grade Jaguar Boys Cross Country Coach Jim Robidoux and Prairie Ridge teacher and runner Kim Haack coach a nine-week, weekday spring running club for boys and girls grades 4-7 who wish to improve their mile time and times for other distance running events . It takes progression over a season to develop as a distance runner. We will practice and play together to prepare for the Ankeny Chamber Chill, the Drake Grand Blue Mile ( April 23), the Ankeny Live Healthy Iowa Track Meet, the Crocker Sparkle Run, the 7th Grade Middle School State Track Meet, the 5th Grade Elementary track meets, the AHS XC Mile After Mile, and other spring and summer triathlons, road races, and track meets.
All participants will receive a Jaguar Running Club shirt. Teammates who attend at least 90% of the scheduled practices will earn an incentive award. Participation is limited to 70 runners. We welcome Ankeny students Hawks and Jaguars to join our happy and active club!
