ANKENY CENTENNIAL HS CAMPS | Jaguar Running Club

Outgoing 8th Grade Jaguar Boys Cross Country Coach Jim Robidoux and avid runner Kirsten (Buck) Goble, AHS Class of 2000, will lead a seven-week, weekday spring running club for boys and girls grades 4-7 who wish to improve their mile time and times for other distance running events. It takes progression over a season to develop as a distance runner. We will practice and play together to prepare for the Drake Grand Blue Mile (April 21), the Ankeny Live Healthy Iowa Track Meet, the Crocker Sparkle Run, the 7th Grade Middle School State Track Meet, the 5th Grade Elementary track meets, the AHS XC Mile After Mile, and other spring and summer triathlons, races, and track meets.
All participants will receive a Jaguar Running Club shirt. At least ten attendees with the top attendance will earn incentive awards. Participation is limited to 60 runners. We welcome Ankeny students Hawks and Jaguars to join our happy and active club!
