Youngstown State University Softball Camps

YSU Softball Showcase

College coaches from Div. 1, Div. 2 and Div. 3 will be providing instruction

Youngstown State University, University of Toledo, University of Akron, Kent State University, Ashland University, Slippery Rock University, Wittenberg University, Ohio Dominican University, John Carroll University, George Washington University,College of Wooster.

The Youngstown State softball program is offering one individual winter camps during the 2018 school year. All camps are open to any and all entrants. On a first come first serve basis.

Pitching Sessions
Grades:
8th - 12th
9:45 AM - 10:45 AM
(Limited to 60 per session)

*You need to bring your own catcher*
**Catchers must register as well (waiver form included)

 

Cost: $70 per session per player
Camp price includes $15 non-refundable processing fee

Location: The Watson and Tressel Training Site, 651 Elm St., Youngstown, Ohio

Individual Camp Features

  • Div. 1, Div. 2 and Div. 3 coaches will be providing instruction before, during and after each game (2 games)
  • Fundamentals of hitting, fielding, base running, catching, and pitching.

YSU softball camps are open to any and all participants, limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender, as required by NCAA rules.

In accordance with this law, the Ohio Department of Health, the Ohio Department of Education, the Ohio High School Athletic Association, the Ohio Chapter of the American College of Cardiology and other stakeholders jointly developed guidelines and other relevant materials to inform and educate students and youth athletes participating in or desiring to participate in an athletic activity, their parents, and their coaches about the nature and warning signs of sudden cardiac arrest.
