Championship Softball Camps

2019 Winter Mini-Camp

Held at the Muhlenberg County Agricultural Center
Highway 189 Bypass, Powderly, Kentucky

Featuring Tory Acheson, Camp Director, and College Head and Assistant Coaches from Division 2, Division 3, NAIA and Junior Colleges

Championship Camps has been growing for years and brings together a great group of college coaches and professional instructors.  The camp is designed to allow players to gain valuable knowledge and be evaluated by a variety of college coaches. Instruction will feature individual and small group work to develop skills for athletes of all ages. Athletes will be grouped according to age and ability level throughout the course of the Mini Camp.

Championship Softball Camps has a great staff of professional instructors and college coaches who instruct at our Mini Camps. We can help your player take their game to a higher level. All aspects of the game will be covered in the Mini Camp schedule. Hitting, defense, base running, pitching, catching and a few fun activities too!

All Mini Camp activities are indoors! Campers can count on having a great day of softball no matter the weather!

The Mini-Camp is designed to offer instruction and practice time in all areas of the game.  We feature small group instruction as the campers move through the camp stations as a part of a team of campers of similar age and skill level.  Our experienced instructors adjust the level of instruction to each group of players.  There are some fun activities but Championship Softball is geared towards players who are looking to improve their skills by working with the best instructors available.

Hitting is an area of emphasis with time spent each day on instruction, trouble shooting and practice time.  Drills to improve mechanics and bat speed are included to allow players to take new ideas home with them to allow them to continue to improve long after they leave the camp.

Defensive skills will be stressed with several sessions on fundamentals and skills specific to the position each camper plays.  Pitching, catching, infield and outfield skills are all covered as a part of sessions designed to give each player an opportunity to work on the position they play.

All Mini Camp activities are held indoors. Weather will not impact the Mini Camp and it will be held rain or shine.
