Fresh off back-to-back World Series appearances, the #7 in the Nation IWU Wildcats under the direction of Head Coach Steve Babinski are excited to announce the Fall 2018 Recruit Weekends!

Experience life as a student-athlete in a program that has made 5 national appearances in the past 7 years, hit 180 homeruns in the past three seasons, averaged 48 wins the past four years (193 total), and has had 9 NAIA All-Americans! The Wildcat Recruit Weekends provided the greatest exposure to the IWU Wildcats - introducing recruits to the   Wildcat program, coaching staff and student-athletes. Discover what sets the IWU Wildcats apart from other programs across the nation.

This year, the Wildcat Recruit Weekends will offer two tracks, with limited space for each portion of the day. Anticipated schedules for each portion of the day are provided below. Students attending the Visit Day track will merge with the Recruit Weekend. Students attending only the softball portion of the Recruit Weekend will join for the start of practice Friday afternoon.

We encourage you to read each option below to determine the best fit for your recruit. Recruit Weekends are open to students in grades 9 – 12.

Processing Fee: (1) $10.00 if registering only for the Recruit Weekend. (2) $15.00 if registering for the Recruit Weekend & Elite Hitting Camp. Processing fee is nonrefundable.

Deposit & Registration Fee: $100.00 deposit due at time of registration. Non-refundable after designated date above (one week before event). Processing fee is non-refundable regardless of date.

Track 1: Visit Day & Recruit Weekend (Limit 30 recruits per date.)

If you have never participated in an official visit at IWU, this track of the IWU Softball Recruit Weekend has been designed for you. Experience life as a student-athlete at Indiana Wesleyan University: attend chapel, hear from the Office of Admissions, have lunch in Baldwin (dining hall), and tour campus. At the conclusion of the Visit Day, you will join the rest of the Recruit Weekend attendees who will join the Recruit Weekend at practice.

• Check-In for Visit Day (9:15am)
• Tour Campus
• Attend Chapel
• Group Meeting with Admissions
• Lunch
• Merge with Track 2 for Recruit Weekend

Students registering for Track 1 to attend the Visit Day do not need to register for Track 2 as well.

Track 2: Recruit Weekend (Softball Portion Only; Limit 20 recruits per date)

If you have previously attended an official campus visit and wish to reconnect with Team 31 and the IWU Softball Coaching Staff, this option has been designed specifically for you. Students attending this track will join the rest of the Recruit Weekend attendees at practice.

• Stay in a residence hall with Team 32
• Scrimmage

Students registering for Track 2 will not be registered to attend the Visit Day, but will join for the Recruit Weekend starting with practice at 2:00pm.

Supplemental Instruction: Elite Hitting Camp

Learn from the IWU Wildcat Lead Assistant Coach Kevin Juber techniques that you can use to take your game from good to great! Students will also receive feedback from Team 32 student-athletes. Held after the conclusion of the Recruit Weekend.The Elite Hitting Camp is a separate registration that recruits can select to as they move through the online registration.

Special Note: If you have previously attended a campus visit and are interested in a more custom experience (faculty appointment, sitting in on a class, etc.) that is not offered on the standard Recruit Weekend, we encourage you to consider scheduling a visit through the Office of Admissions on a separate date. Recruit Weekends do not afford the opportunity for custom visits, as students taking part in the Visit Day portion of the Recruit Weekend will move through the scheduled appointments as a group.
