UNC Wilmington Softball Camps
2019 Elite Pitcher / Catcher Camp
Fluid Dynamics with Denny Tincher. Speed, Power, and Movement. This camp is for the 7th grader and above who is serious about pitching and being the most efficient pitcher possible. Denny returns to UNCW for year 4 and we love helping pitchers from all over learn the style of mechanics that reduces injury, creates more power, and will help the advanced pitcher take her game to the next level. You want to get rid of your glove slap? Get more power from your lower half? Understand the proper arm circle and drills to create a loose and more efficient upper body? Mechanics and movement will be covered at this camp, but this is not the camp for the beginner or intermediate pitcher. You should be throwing mid 50’s or above to attend this camp. We will have other pitching camps for pitchers younger or older at a different level. This is an Elite pitching and catching camp.
Pitchers bring someone to catch you. If they are a minor (under 18) they will need to fill out the waiver too. Print one out for them. If it is a parent, we will relieve them as much as we can!
Catchers will receive instruction before they catch pitchers live and get to work on receiving and blocking pitchers of various speeds with various movement pitches!
