Camp Focus: Duke Softball’s Winter clinic has it all! Our Blue Devil players and coaching staff will provide comprehensive instruction on hitting, pitching, catching, defensive position work, as well as interviewing techniques and a college talk.
Hitters will go in depth with mechanics, plate approach, in game mental strategies and film review. During defense, players will be coached up to improve throwing mechanics, glove work, footwork, and position specific drill work for both infield and outfield. Catchers will improve receiving, throwing & blocking techniques. Pitchers will receive detailed instruction on pitching mechanics, velocity building, and developing movement pitches. Our clinic staff is excited to provide you the opportunity to become a smarter, stronger, and more mechanically sound competitors. What To Bring: Each camper must bring her own softball equipment. Players should bring a glove, bat, cleats, running shoes or turf shoes, and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Catchers must bring their own gear. Helmets will be provided. Additional Information: Please check your email regularly as this is our primary way we communicate. Any additional information that we need to convey as the camp draws closer will be passed on to you via the e-mail address that you supplied when you signed up for camp. Please make it a habit to check your e-mail daily, this will help us keep you up to date. Refund Policy: After receipt of application, refund for cancellation will be given only if written notification is provided seven or more days prior to the start of camp. The refund will be in full with the exception of a $25 processing fee, which is needed to cover costs. Additionally, players have the option to transfer the entire balance towards a future camp if they prefer. If the refund is requested within 7 days of the camp the player will only be offered credit towards a future camp. Without written request prior to the start of camp, no refunds will be processed. All camp credits are good for one year.
Duke Softball Camps are open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender).
