ISU Softball Camps

2019 Winter Clinics

The Total Cost for the Clinic is $125: This includes the defensive session and the hitting session of your choice.

**Online Registration is open until the Night of Camp Start Date**
**Walk ups are welcome too!**

Defensive Clinic "Defense, Defense, Defense!"
Date: Saturday, January 19th Ages 12 & Under: 1:30 - 3:30 p.m. Ages 13 & Up: 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.

Hitting Clinic (One Day)
Dates: January 20th or 21st Ages: All Ages Times: 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. *(Lunch is from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m.)*

Cost: $125
(This includes the defensive session and the hitting session of your choice. There will be no pitching on January 19th during the defensive session.)

Softball Skills Work and Defensive Positional Work (No Pitching):
Campers will be grouped by age. The ISU Coaches and Players will take you through instruction on many mechanical aspects of fielding and then half way through will split you into positional work for more specific mechanics to your position. Campers should choose one defensive area from the following list:

Catching (8 and up only)
Middle Infield (8 and up only)
Corners (8 and up only)
Outfield (8 and up only)

What You Will Need:

Glove
Catcher will need their gear

Hitting Clinic:
Hitters of all ages are welcome and will be matched up by age and skill level. Coach Letts, Coach Schultz, Coach Orozco, and the ISU softball team will give instruction on hitting and the mental approach, as well as teach improvised hitting drills, and that will prepare campers to be the best hitter they can be come spring.

What You Will Need:

Bat
Helmet
Batting Gloves
Your own lunch if you will not be leaving the facility
