2019 WINTER CLINICS | GRADES 9TH - 12TH
The Griz softball program is hosting winter softball mini-clinics for high school age players interested in hitting, pitching, infield or catching. The two-hour hitting session will cover the basic fundamentals of the swing, drills to help with proper swing path and the mental approach to your plate appearance. Each pitching session will be ninety minutes to help increase velocity, accuracy and proper spin on pitches. The catching and infield session will last one hour with fundamentals and various drills to help improve the camper’s individual skill level in that specific area. Camp sessions are filled on a first come, first serve basis. Each camp participant will receive one-on-one time with Griz staff and members of the 2019 Griz softball team.

LOCATION: University of Montana, Softball Field, Indoor Facility
NOTES: Campers are asked to wear tennis shoes, no cleats will be allowed at the clinics. Pitchers need to provide their own catcher for their pitching session as well as bring a glove. Hitters are encouraged to bring any hitting equipment they own (helmet, bat, batting gloves, etc.).

REFUND POLICY: 75% refund on or before January 1st, 50% refund on or before January 6th, 25% refund on or before January 13th, no refund after January 14th.

This camp is open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender).
The NCAA prohibits payment of camp expenses (transportation, camp tuition, spending money, etc.) by representatives of Montana’s athletic interest. Furthermore, NCAA rules prohibit free or reduced camp admission privileges for prospective student-athletes in the 9th grade or above.
