NASHVILLE'S ELITE WINTER CAMP

 
January 5th - 6th, 2019
Grades: 7th - 12th
Pitching & Catching | Jan. 5 | 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. | $95
Defense & Hitting | Jan. 5 - 6 | 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. | $185

Pitching Session: Girls will get to throw all their pitches in front of College coaches. The coaches will help to access and improve you their fundamentals. Areas of focus will be wrist snap, ball spin, stride, and arm speed. Each player will also get their pitch speeds measured at the being and the end of their session.

Catching Session: Catchers will learn proper catching techniques improve their receiving, blocking. signal calling, footwork, transfer from glove to throw, and pop time. They will also learn how to improve pitch call through batter recognition early and late in the count. They will also learn advanced throwing techniques to all bags. Catchers will also learn how to receive throws and proper set up for plays at the plate.

Defensive Session:
Infielders
- will learn proper glove work and advances skills to become more efficient and reduce fielding errors. College coaches will focus on proper back hand, four hand, reading and using short hop and long hop techniques in improve accuracy and speed. Girls will learn to develop quick transfers to perform an accurate throw with proper foot work.

Outfields - will learn proper techniques to track fly balls, proper foot work and drop steps, transfers and learn various throws to all bags including plays at the plate. They will learn to understand how to use their cuts and read when and where the throws should go in different situations.

Offensive Session:
Hitting
- learn advanced techniques to develop more power, increase bat speed, pitching selection, and mental preparation. Slappers will learn advances techniques on all phases of slapping and learn to be more explosive out of the box.

Base Running - improve your time out of the box, become more efficient with your leads, jumps, tag ups and various slides. College coaches will register your times from home to first and home to home. Along with give you feedback on ways to improve that time for the next level.

What To Bring:
→ Glove, bats, catcher’s gear, cleats, turf / tennis shoes, water and lunch.
