2019 St. Kate's Summer Advanced Skills CHAMP Camp

What is it like to train in a Championship Atmosphere? Join Head Softball Coach Colleen Powers and current Wildcat players & staff for our Summer Advanced Champ Camp to find out! The environment will be fast paced, high energy, and fun. Expect to learn, grow, and continue to progress in the game! Players will be split into groups based on age and skill level.

Defensive Skills: Middle infield, corner infield & outfield. Pitching & catching will be available based on demand. Camp will include technical skills as well as mental training, failure recovery training, positioning, and communication.

Offensive Skills: Hitting, left handed slapping, baserunning and specific short game technique (including squeeze, push, sacrifice, and drag bunts). Camp will include technical skills as well as mental training, hitting in all zones and counts, and in clinic video analysis.

What to bring:

Softball glove
Helmet
Bat
Water bottle
Snack

What to wear:

Athletic attire
Bring a pair of sweatpants or softball pants
Athletic/tennis shoes (for indoor hitting) and cleats
