Event Description

2019 SLAP & SPEED CAMP

This two-day camp will teach students the slap/speed skills and strategies utilized by the University of Tennessee softball program. Coach Karen Weekly is known nationally for developing players who master the short game and create opportunities on the base paths. Instruction will focus on bunting, slapping, base running, stealing, and speed & agility mechanics. Students will come away with a greater ability to maximize their speed while pressuring the other team's defense.

AGES
Ages 10-18. Cannot be a High School Graduate.

TIMES
Check-In: 2:15pm at the third base side entrance of Sherri Parker Lee Stadium
Wednesday: 3:00pm - 9:00pm
Thursday: 8:00am - 2:00pm

REFUND POLICY
Full refund (minus registration fee) available if cancellation by email occurs by 9:00pm EST, at least 7 days prior to your scheduled event. If within 7 days, a 50% refund will be given due to cancellation. No refunds will be issued after the event has started.

All of Tennessee Sports Camps are open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender).

Note: The University may postpone or cancel this event due to circumstances or conditions beyond its control, such as, but not limited to, natural disasters, acts or war, acts of God, or public health emergencies. Neither party shall be liable for damages for delay or default if such delay or default is caused by circumstances or conditions beyond its control, such as, but not limited to, natural disasters, acts of war, acts of God, or health emergencies. The Parties will consult with other to determine if the event can be rescheduled. -- It is not permissible for boosters to provide expenses for individuals to attend any of the Tennessee Sports Camps. Expenses include but are not limited to, lodging meals, transportation, and/or camp tuition.
