Event Description

Summer Camp

 

The camp is designed to provide intensive instruction on all aspects of the game of softball. We will focus on hitting skills, defensive skills, base running, and game strategy. All defensive positions including pitching and catching will be covered. There will also be extensive instruction on hitting. Athletes will have the opportunity to get live-game experience as well, through daily scrimmages. Athletes will be placed on teams based on age/skill level.

Grades: 2nd - 12th (Fall of 2018/Spring 2019)
Time: See Below
Residential: $415 (Fees include all meals, water/Gatorade & dorm accommodations)
Commuter: $320 (Fees include lunch at camp & water/Gatorade)
 
**Check in for both overnight and commuter campers will take place at the designated dorm (to be emailed out by camp coordinator) at 8:00am on Monday, June 10

** Camp will run from 9am-6:30 pm on each day for 6th-12th grade) and 9am-5 pm (2nd-5th grade) , except for the final day (Thursday, June 13) when it will run from 9am-Noon

WHAT TO BRING / HOUSING INFO
Campers will be housed 2 per room in an  air-conditioned MSU residence hall, with  microwaves & mini-refrigerators.

  • Tennis/Turf Shoes & Cleats
  • Bat & Helmet 
  • Glove & Catching Gear (If necessary)
  • Sunglasses

  • XL Twin Sheets
  • Pillow & Blanket

  • Towels
REQUIRED
In order to participate, each camper will be required to fill out the Medical/Release form prior to camp.
