Event Description

2019 SUMMER DAY CAMP

 

When: June 11 - 12
Who: Softball Athletes, Ages 10-18
Where: OU Softball Facility 2500 S Jenkins Ave, Norman, OK 73019
Cost: $275 per Camper

What To Bring: Glove, Bat, Batting Helmet, Batting Gloves, Catching Gear for catchers working that position, Water Jug, Sunscreen. We will be both indoors and outdoors, be prepared! You will need turf shoes or tennis shoes as well as your cleats. Please make sure all your items are marked!

Attire:
Game Pants or Shorts
Light Loose Fitting T-Shirt
Tennis Shoes or Turf Shoes
Cleats
Visor, Hat or Sunglasses (If Needed)

Lunch: Campers should bring their own lunch and drink or campers can be picked up to go to lunch with a parent or guardian. Camper labeled lunches can be stored inside the softball facility upon request.

Late Registration: If you are arriving late please contact us with an estimated arrival time. Please head straight to the OU Softball Stadium for check in.

Tuesday, June 11 - 9:00am-12:00pm | Session 1
7:30am - 8:45am → Registration Begins, Located at Front Entrance of OU Softball Stadium
8:45am → Coach Introductions & Camp Schedule
9:00am → Teams 1-5 - Offense at OU Softball Stadium / Teams 6-9 - Defense at Reeves Park Fields 1-4
10:30am - 12:00pm → All Pitchers / Catchers at Reeves Park Fields 3 & 4
12:00pm → Break For Lunch

Tuesday, June 11 - 2:00pm-5:00pm | Session 2
1:30pm → All Campers Meet Back at OU Softball Stadium
1:45pm → Teams 6-9 - Offense at OU Softball Stadium / Teams 1-5 - Defense at Reeves Park Fields 1-4
4:45pm → Camp Assembly at OU Softball Stadium
5:00pm → Conclusion of Camp

Wednesday, June 12 - 9:00am-12:00pm | Session 1
8:30am → Warm Up
8:45am → Camp Assembly
9:30am - 10:30am → Teams 1-5 - Position Play at Reeves Park Fields 1-2 / Teams 6-9 - Offense at OU Softball Stadium
10:30am - 12:00pm → Games for Teams 1-5 at Reeves Park
12:00pm → Break For Lunch

Wednesday, June 12 - 2:00pm-5:00pm | Session 2
1:45pm → Camp Assembly
1:45pm → Teams 6-9 - Position Play at Reeves Park Fields 1-4 / Teams 1-5 - Offense at OU Softball Stadium
4:45pm → Games for Teams 6-9 at Reeves Park Fields 1-2
5:00pm → Camp Assembly
5:15pm → Conclusion of Camp
