Event Description

WildCat Pitcher/Catcher Clinic

Pitchers and catchers will work both together and separately during this 4-hour intensive clinic to hone skills specific to their position. Pitchers will have the opportunity to learn a new pitch or enhance existing pitches, and their speed will be recorded. They will also have a chance to showcase their different pitches.

Catchers’ pop times will be recorded, and skills such as blocking, framing and commanding the game will be reviewed. For all, the expectations for these important positions at the collegiate level will be reviewed, and tips for mastering skills like mental toughness, body language, and composure will be communicated and practiced.
