Elite Day Camp
2019 ELITE DAY CAMP
This three-day camp will focus primarily on improving each participant’s individual skills in individual and team situations. A portion of the camp will also feature live games where the camper will have an opportunity to showcase and hone their skills with Head Softball Coach Melanie Meuchel, the University of Montana softball coaching staff, and members of the 2019 team. Campers will receive a Griz softball camp tee shirt. Camp is limited to the first 72 campers with paid enrollment.

DAY 1: 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM
DAY 2: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
DAY 3: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
INCLUDED: Instruction, Camp T-Shirt & Lunch on Day 2
LIMITED TO FIRST 72 CAMPERS
*Registration & Payment will be the only way to guarantee your spot in the camp.
Spots will only be held by full payment. It will be a first come, first serve basis*
LOCATION: Griz Softball Field, corner of South Avenue and Higgins Avenue, behind Dornblaser and Montana Soccer Field.
EQUIPMENT: Campers are asked to wear tennis shoes or rubber cleats, NO metal cleats will be allowed on the all turf field or inside the turf batting cages. We also encourage campers to bring all softball equipment they own. (helmet, bat, batting gloves, etc.).
TRAINERS: An athletic trainer will be available at all times in the event of minor injuries or illness.
ADDITIONAL CAMP INSTRUCTORS: Include current and former Griz Softball players and possible former or current college coaches.
CANCELLATION: Full refunds will be given if a camp is cancelled by the university. Camper cancellation fee will be charged accordingly:
- ELITE CAMP: 75% refund before June 9th, 50% refund before June 23rd, 25% refund on or before July 6th, no refund after July 6th.

This camp is open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender).
The NCAA prohibits payment of camp expenses (transportation, camp tuition, spending money, etc.) by representatives of Montana’s athletic interest. Furthermore, NCAA rules prohibit free or reduced camp admission privileges for prospective student-athletes in the 7th grade or above.
