2019 FALL EXPERIENCE CAMP

The Valpo Fall Experience Camp is open to any current student-athletes in grades 7-12 (Grad Years 2020-2025) who are interested in competing at the collegiate level. Athletes will learn and exhibit offensive skills, defensive skills, pitching, catching, and base running through drills and games. The camp will also provide informational sessions on recruiting and collegiate academic demands, strength and sport specific training, team building, and mental training.

Who: 2020 - 2025 Graduates
Check-In: 8:00 AM - 8:20 AM
Camp: 8:20 AM - 5:30 PM
Cost: $160 per Camper

Location: Valpo Softball Field

Camp Includes:

2 Games (1:10 Each) with VU Players & Coaches
Small Group Offensive Drills and Defensive Fundamentals
Mental Training & Team Building
Baserunning Technique & Sport Specific Training
Recruiting Session

What to expect from camp
Athletes will be broken up into 6 teams that will compete in 2 games (1:10 Each) and receive 4 instructional sessions. Each Team will be coached by VU players and the VU Coaching Staff will be on hand instructing and talking strategy with participants throughout both games and sessions. Each participant will receive a camp T-shirt (team color) to wear for the day

Instructional sessions include:

Defensive Stations: Athletes are welcome to attend any session (infield, outfield, catching, pitching). You will only be able to participate in one session.
Offensive Drills & Approaches
Mental Training & Team Building
Baserunning & Sport Specific Training

Camp Outline:

Recruiting Session
Coach Stake will be providing information to all participants and parents who are interested. Recruiting session will take place during the lunch hour. Campers are welcome to eat during the session.

Inclement Weather
IF THERE IS RAIN ON THE DAY OF CAMP WE WILL MOVE CAMP INSIDE. CAMP OUTLINE IS SUBJECT TO CHANGES NECESSARY FOR FACILITIES IN THE EVENT OF WEATHER

Refund Policy
We do not offer cash refunds for this camp. However, Crusader Camp Credit is available. Softball camp credit must be used for any Valparaiso Softball Camp in the next 12 months. This does not include credit card processing costs.

Equipment
Players are responsible for bringing their own personal equipment, such as: cleats, glove, bat, tennis shoes, helmet, and any other equipment necessary. NO equipment will be provided.

Lunch / Concessions
Campers are responsible for their own lunch.

Camper Conduct
With my application, I agree to abide by all camp policies and guidelines set forth at the time of registration by camp directors. I understand that these policies are intact for my safety and that any breach of these policies may result in immediate dismissal from camp at my own expense.

Registration is limited and closes on Oct. 1st
Payment is due at time of registration
Walk-Ins will only be accepted if space is available. The fee will be $25 more.
