Christmas Showcase Camp
Our most popular two-day camp will teach you the fundamentals and drills used by the UT softball team, focusing on: hitting for power and average, increasing bat speed, mental game strategies, speed developing drills, base running, throwing and defensive skills. Clinicians will include all members of the UT softball coaching staff, current and former players, and numerous guest college coaches from throughout the nation. Campers will have the opportunity to both improve their game and showcase their skills for numerous college programs, especially the University of Tennessee. Pitchers and Catchers can sign-up for an additional 3 hours of position specific instruction.

LOCATION
Our Primary Location will be the Neyland-Thompson Indoor Football Facility. We will also utilize the indoor facilities at Sherri Parker Lee Stadium, the Volleyball Practice Facility and Baseball’s Indoor Cages. You will need your own transportation to travel between the venues (at most 1.2 miles apart).
AGES
Open to all girls, ages 8-18 (cannot be enrolled in college yet) and skill levels from beginner to advanced.
TIMES
Main Camp: Saturday 1:45pm to 7:00pm, Sunday 8:00am to 1:00pm
Pitching Option: Saturday 9:30am to 12:30pm
Catching Option: Saturday 9:30am to 12:30pm
Being a winter camp, times may fluctuate due to weather or to work around football’s bowl game preparations.
COST
Main Camp: $250
Pitching/Catching Option: $90 each (you must be enrolled in the main camp to sign up for a pitching or catching option.)
REFUND POLICY
Full refund (minus registration fee) available if cancellation by email occurs by at least 7 days prior to your scheduled event (168 hours prior to camp start time). If within 7 days, a 50% refund will be given due to cancellation. No refunds will be issued after the event has started.

Neyland-Thompson Indoor Football Facility –1551 Lake Loudoun Blvd, Knoxville, TN 37916. This is a very large building – campers will need to enter at the northeast entrance (along Lake Loudoun Blvd, closest to Johnny Majors Dr.).
Softball Cages and Clubhouse - 2323 Stephenson Drive, Knoxville, TN 37916
Volleyball Practice Facility – 2321 Stephenson Drive, Knoxville, TN 37916
Baseball Cages – 1590 Todd Helton Dr., Knoxville, TN 37916. To reach the cages, drive or walk around behind the outfield fence and the indoor cages are located at the end of the first base line in deep right field.
Check In
Pitchers (in the pitching option) will check in at 9:00am at the baseball cages (1590 Todd Helton Dr., Knoxville, TN 37916)
Catchers (in the catching option) will check in at 9am at the softball clubhouse (2323 Stephenson Dr., Knoxville, TN 37916).
All non-pitchers and catchers will check in between 12:30 and 1:15pm at the softball clubhouse (2323 Stephenson Dr., Knoxville, TN 37916).
What to Bring
Campers should bring their glove, batting helmet, bat, and batting gloves - please make sure everything is clearly marked. Catchers should bring catching gear to the catching option only. Please bring tennis shoes, as cleats are not allowed in any of the indoor areas. Also, please make sure your child has appropriate cold-weather/rain gear to get between buildings, as well as, to and from your vehicle. You may want to bring an umbrella if rain is forecasted.
ALL CAMPERS MUST BRING TENNIS SHOES and a BATTING HELMET.
Pitchers do not need to bring a catcher to catch them.
Water stations will be available at each site.
Also, seating is very limited. You may want to bring portable chairs if you are staying to observe.
Facility Rules for All Venues
There are 2 main rules all campers and parents must abide by:
1) No outside food or beverages are allowed in the facilities. We’re using football’s, volleyball’s and baseball’s facilities and we want to be able to keep using them. We’ll make an exception with the snacks for both Saturday and Sunday, but please make sure to keep it small (only a ten minute break) and to throw away the wrappers.
2) Parents must stay off of the instructional areas. Please keep off of the turf in the indoor football facility and stay in the middle between the 2 sets of cages at baseball. Also, due to insuring safety within confined spaces, parents WILL NOT be able to enter the softball hitting cages, the film room for mental game or both of the two stations in the volleyball facility. While your child is at those stations you are welcome to wait inside the softball clubhouse.
Camp Store
A camp store will be available before, during and following the camp. Campers will be able to purchase a variety of UT softball clothing and merchandise. The store will accept cash, Visa or MasterCard.
