Mavericks' Softball Camps

2019 Elite Prospect Camps

The November Elite Prospect Camp for athletes in grades 7^th-12^th will offer hands on instruction from the MSU coaching staff and their current players. Athletes will get the opportunity to learn advanced offensive and defensive strategies along with being able to play in a live game setting. Athletes will also receive a camp T-shirt, lunch, and learn what it is like in the life of a student-athlete.

8:00 - 8:30 a.m.	Registration - Pitchers Warm Up
8:30 - 8:40 a.m.	Welcome / Introductions
8:40 - 8:55 a.m.	Warm Up (Coach Meyer talk about NCAA recruiting rules with parents)
8:55 - 9:00 a.m.	Divide into Primary Positions
9:05 - 10:15 a.m.	Primary Position Work
10:20 a.m. - 11:20 a.m.	Defensive Basics Rotation
12:50 - 1:15 p.m.	Lunch (MSU Student-Athletes Q & A with campers)
1:20 - 2:35 p.m.	Game or Campus Tour
2:40 - 3:55 p.m.	Game or Campus Tour
4:00 p.m.	Thank you

Catchers should bring a full set of catching gear
Pitchers need their own catchers that are not involved in the camp
