Have you made a decision to move on to another College or University to continue your softball career but really don’t know how to show your skills to other collegiate programs? Our Portal Showcase is designed so that you can showcase your abilities in front of our camp staff and all the others that have been invited to attend this event.
Here's how this will work:
This camp is designed for athletes active on the portal. Athletes that cannot provide proof at the time of registration AND on the day of camp will NOT be allowed in this camp.
Camp is limited to portal prospects that are active only. Campers must provide a screen shot/letter from the NCAA Transfer Office of validation of being placed on the portal and upload it in order to register for camp. Incomplete registrations will not secure a spot. Active status in the portal will be verified AGAIN at check in. This is to comply with all NCAA rules and regulations. .
Due to organizational purposes, registration spots per position are limited in nature.
NON DI college coaches and DD STAFF will coach and instruct the portal prospects at this camp. No DI or DII coaches will be on the field at any time during this event. Paid staff will be on the fields.
Any DI or DII coach that registers will receive the camper identification info and portal info prior to arrival. College coaches that do not register will not get verification today camper attendance.
Every camper will have a tag number and info that helps identification for the camper that aligns with the information so each coach evaluating can check with further portal info.
Here is how our Showcase will be structured:
Hitters will go through hitting stations to include front toss and live hitting off of pitchers. Our pitchers will pitch live to hitters and will pitch in the bullpen in front of our staff. Athletes will be given an opportunity to showcase themselves at the primary defensive position. Each camper will be placed on a team and the team will play 2 games that will be 100 minutes each. Our College Coaching Staff will Coach the teams and many others Coaches will be present to observe.
