2020 SUMMER OVERNIGHT CAMP

 

SUMMER OVERNIGHT CAMP

When: June 14 - 17
Who: Softball Athletes, Ages 8-18
Where: OU Softball Facility | 2500 S Jenkins Ave, Norman, OK 73019
Overnight | Ages 10-18: $575 per Camper
Commuter | Ages 8-18: $475 per Camper

Optional Camp Add-Ons:
Pizza on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday Evenings: $11 per Pizza, Options Include: Cheese, Pepperoni, Sausage
Camp Photo: $10

What To Bring:
Softball Gear: Glove, Bat, Batting Helmet, Batting Gloves, Catching Gear for catchers working that position, Water Jug, Sunscreen.
Items For Dorms: Linen (Sleeping Bag, Pillow, Sheets), Towel, Toiletries (Soap, Shampoo, etc.), Extra Money For Emergencies, Cell Phone, Bug Spray.
Please make sure all your items are marked!

Overnight Campers: All overnight campers are required to bring $25 cash deposit for thier room key, to be turned in at registration. This deposit will be returned at check-out when the key is returned. This deposit is to be put in an envelope with the camper’s full name labeled on it.

Late Registration: If you are arriving late please contact Jackie Livingston and inform her of an estimated arrival time. Late Registration will end at 11:30pm.

Remember, fee for commuters includes noon and evening meals as well as full day and evening sessions. Morning sessions start at 9:00am Please be there at least 10 minutes before the start of session. Optional pitchers and catchers session start at 8:00am on Tuesday and Wednesday only. Evening sessions will conclude at 9:00pm. Commuters can be picked up at 9:15pm at Couch Tower.

Please note: Those of you who will be picking up your daughter for league games, you will need to show an ID before your daughter is released. If your daughter needs to be released to another adult, you will need to fill out appropriate paperwork at registration.

Out-of-State Campers: Please contact Jackie Livingston about flight times and fax or e-mail flight itinerary. We will coordinate flight times and pick up with you once itinerary is received.

4:00pm - 6:00pm → Registration at Gazebo on Asp Avenue
4:00pm - 6:00pm → Dinner at Couch Cafeteria
6:15pm - 6:30pm → Camp Assembly at Gazebo
6:30pm - 9:00pm → Softball Activities at Softball & Baseball Fields
9:00pm - 9:30pm → Policies & Procedures at Gazebo
9:35pm → Dessert
9:45pm → Free Time
11:00pm → Bed Check - LIGHTS OUT!!

Monday, June 15 & Tuesday, June 16
7:30am - 8:30am → Breakfast at Couch Cafeteria
8:00am - 9:00am → Optional Pitching & Catching (Team 1-9 Only) at OU Softball Stadium & Reaves Park (Tuesday Only)
8:00am - 9:00am → Pitchers / Catchers (Team 1-9) (Tuesday Only)
9:00am - 9:30am → Conditioning / Stretching at OU Softball Stadium
9:30am - 12:00pm → Hitting, Individual Defense Instruction at OU Softball Stadium & Reaves Park
12:30pm - 2:00pm → Lunch / Free Time at Couch Cafeteria
2:00pm - 5:00pm → Games / Positional Instruction at OU Softball Stadium & Reaves Park
5:00pm - 7:00pm → Dinner / Free Time at Couch Cafeteria
7:30pm - 9:30pm → Evening Activities at OU Softball Stadium / Tuesday Night "All-Star" Events at OU Softball Stadium
9:30pm - 11:00pm → Free Time at Couch Tower
11:00pm → Bed Check - LIGHTS OUT!!

Wednesday, June 17
7:30am - 8:30am → Breakfast at Couch Cafeteria
8:00am - 9:00am → Optional Pitching & Catching (Team 10-18 Only) at OU Softball Stadium & Reaves Park
9:00am - 9:30am → Conditioning / Stretching at OU Softball Stadium
10:00am - 11:30am → Championship Games at OU Softball Stadium & Reaves Park
11:45am → Award Ceremonies at OU Softball Stadium
12:00pm → Check Out
