Event Description

Boilermakers Elite Prospect All-Skills Mini Summer Camp (Grades 6th-12th & Transfers)

Intermediate to advanced softball skills are recommended. Boilers ages 6th-12th grade and Transfers will learn defense and offense skills to help them excel in middle school, high school, travel ball, and at the next level in college.

  • Defense Fundamentals: glove work, footwork, throwing, situational defense, etc. Campers will have the option to choose their primary position (P, C, INF, OF).
    • Pitchers and Catchers may attend this camp to work on defense on the mound and behind the plate, or at their secondary defensive position, but there will not be instruction on pitch mechanics.
    • Pitchers wanting instruction on pitching fundamentals, outside of pitcher defense, should attend the Elite Prospect Pitcher/Catcher Camp.
  • Offense Fundamentals: swing fundamentals, increasing power, strategies for improving hitting for average, short game (bunting), base running, etc. (Slapping fundamentals will be included in the hitting stations for campers who are slappers.)
