Panthers United Field Hockey

Kids Camp for Girls

Experience a traditional outdoor (some indoor activities) summer camp with trained staff. We encourage your child to build friendships, learn skills, explore and build lasting life skills.

Girls will have the opportunity to discover and enjoy many special activities and games choosing ones they love and trying out new including:

  • Outdoor Living skills
  • Nature
  • Recreational Sports and team sports
  • Arts and Crafts
  • Drama Games
  • Fun songs
  • Small group games
  • Large group games and activities
  • Special events
  • Much more…
Week Long Sessions
Ages: 6 - 14
Times: 9:00am - 4:30pm
Cost: $250 per Player
Early care $25 | Late care $35 per week

Girls thrive in groups where they can be themselves, be creative and enjoy their surroundings. Trying new things and feeling confident in what they do, Kids camp for Girls allows campers to discover new opportunities while building self esteem and friendships. We encourage silly and fun play and activities while teaching skills to each camper. Electronics (cellphones, Ipads etc) are not allowed to encourage creative play and interactions with others.

Camp Director, Katie Ellis has been attending and working at overnight camp for 20 years. She completed an intense CIT Leadership program at Camp Carysbrook. Katie and her staff bring a wealth of camping knowledge to our program.

Assistant Director, Maggie Ellis also completed an intense CIT leadership program at Camp Carysbrook and brings 15 years of camping experience as a camper and staff member. Both are certified in advanced first aid and CPR.

Typical Day

  • 9-9:20- Warm up game group
  • 9:30-11:30 Activity Session 1 (small groups)
    OLS
    Nature Hikes/Scavenger hunts
    Field Hockey or other team sport
    Rec Sports
  • 11:30- 12 small games
  • 12-12:30 LUNCH
  • 12:30-1:30 Quiet activities/rest hour
  • 1:30-3:30 Activity Session 2 (small groups)
    OLS
    Soccer
    Rec Sports
    Arts and crafts
  • 3:30 Snack break
  • 3:50-4:30pm Large Group Activity
